Using traditional Chinese pottery techniques, most of handmade tiles are made by hand. Manual operations account for a considerable amount when processing tiles, from molding to firing, pre-forming, glaze compounding, glaze spraying and glaze feeding. The production process without standard mode and low industrialization is one of the features of handmade tiles, and it is also the most fundamental difference between handmade tiles and building ceramics that are produced industrially on a large scale. Handmade tiles inherit the crafts that mainly reflect the handcraft culture and pattern designs, through which the consumers would be touched. Today, we will introduce the four categories of handmade tiles: Cracked Ice Series, Geometric Series, Heteromorphic Series and Customized Series.
