As aluminum veneer curtain walls are used more and more widely in buildings, its production and installation have received more and more attention. Today we will talk about what needs to be paid attention to before installation and construction of aluminum veneer curtain walls and how it should be installed. Which process do you do?

1. Check whether the quality of the horizontal and vertical keel meets the requirements of the drawing, and the installation of the horizontal and vertical keel meets the requirements of the design specification. The connecting bolts for horizontal and vertical keel installation shall not be missing. In order to ensure the installation accuracy of the board, it is advisable to use theodolite to penetrate the beam and mullion members, and the deformation joints, settlement joints, and variable cross-sections should be properly handled to meet the requirements of use.

2. Check the construction drawings and on-site measured dimensions in detail to ensure the perfection of the deepening design and processing. At the same time, carefully check with the structural node diagrams and find out the inconsistent parts, and correct the design as soon as possible.

3. The connection between the connecting piece and the vertical keel should be reliable, and the bullet cushion should not be leaked.

4. The material and processing geometric dimensions of the metal connector must meet the design requirements, and the material must have a factory certificate and a retest report.

5. Check the material, color, strength, appearance and processing accuracy of aluminum veneer to see if it meets the design and national standards.

a. The surface of the processed molding board provided shall not have obvious indentation, imprints and depressions, etc., and the surface of the board shall be free from damage, concealed damage and markings.

b. The nails used to connect the ribs and the back of the aluminum veneer should not have obvious protrusions, depressions, and the coating surface should not affect the look and feel of the aluminum veneer after the nails are completed, and the fixing should be firm.

c. Check the flatness of the aluminum veneer surface: Use a 3m ruler to check the surface of the aluminum veneer, and the allowable deviation is 3mm. Use a 3m ruler to check the vertical and horizontal surface of the board, with an allowable deviation of 2.5mm, and use a square ruler to check the Yin and Yang angles, with an allowable deviation of 2.5mm.

d. Check the folding angle of the aluminum veneer and the angle deviation of the multi-folded plate: within ±0.50, the rounded radius of the folding of the aluminum plate meets the design requirements, and the folding is formed at one time.

e. Check the processing accuracy of aluminum veneer’s length and width size deviation, diagonal size deviation, and opposite side parallelism deviation:

f. Whether the position of the riveting lugs on the folded edge of the aluminum veneer is correct.

g. The aluminum veneer shall be marked according to the requirements of the design drawings.

6. Aluminum veneers enter the site and stack them according to the specification number to prevent collision and pollution.

7. The scaffold should be erected before installation and construction, and the hanging basket for installation and operation should be checked and accepted by the relevant department. Check whether the scaffold meets the requirements of curtain wall construction and specifications.

The above process is done before the aluminum veneer curtain wall construction, and the installation will be twice the result with half the effort.
