As a BNC Connector Factory, share with you. HDTV digital technology places high demands on the components involved. Improved image quality requires a larger amount of data. To transmit this volume with minimal loss, high-quality 75-ohm F and BNC connectors have been developed for radio and studio applications, as well as special cables designed as accurately as possible in terms of impedance matching.
The so-called HDTV puts forward higher electrical requirements on the commonly used 75-ohm F and BNC connectors to improve the return loss performance of the system, thereby increasing the frequency of signal reflection.
For this reason, Tiankele has specially developed a series of 75-ohm BNC and F connectors with extremely high impedance matching to achieve excellent return loss values. Unlike standard F-type connectors, all Tiankele designs include center contacts.

In the case of high-quality 75-ohm cables, the biggest challenge lies especially in production. Here, the wire preheating, the interaction of nitrogen and material feed, temperature control, speed control of the extruder, and unwinding and winding must be ensured as accurately as possible. The high uniformity of the line speed and the specified cooling process are very important to reduce the production tolerance as much as possible. In addition, it is important to prevent the vibration of the inner conductor entering the extruder. When observing all these parameters, an impedance accuracy of 75 ohm <+ 1% can be achieved.
At the end of the 20th century, analog satellite TV had some history in China, and digital TV had entered every household. DVB can be received via DVB-C, DVB-S and DVB-T. This conversion brings us improved image quality, which is more apparent in HDTV (High Definition Television) broadcasting.
These HD broadcasts have at least 720 image lines, while PAL only has 576 image lines. However, the amount of data that must be transmitted within a certain period of time also increases with higher image quality. The data rate of HDTV is up to 25 Mbit / s per channel, while the normal PAL data rate is 4 or 6 Mbit / s per channel.
High-quality 75-ohm BNC and F connectors and cables specially developed for radio and studio applications are designed to match the impedance as accurately as possible, so that such a large amount of data can be transmitted with minimal loss.
These HDTV compatible components must ensure very good attenuation values up to approx. 3 GHz to keep the image reflection of the signal reflection as low as possible. Therefore, the impedance matching of the connector and the corresponding cable is the most important.
