The New Berth Of Baima Port Area Of Qingtuo Group Has a Capacity Of 4.33 Million Tons Per Year Since Its Operation

Recently, 12 # and 13 # berths invested and constructed by Qingtuo Group Logistics Company and operated by Baima Port Area Bay Dock Operating Zone of Fuzhou Port ushered in the first berth, adding two more berths to Baima Port's important logistics hub Bay Dock Operating Zone of "Entry and Exit Gate, Wuyi Throat".

It is understood that the construction scale of berths 12 # and 13 # in Baima Port Bay Dock Operating Zone is 2 berths of 35,000 tons and corresponding supporting facilities. The berth length of the wharf is 420 meters. The wharf structure is designed according to the berthing design of 50,000 tons bulk carriers. It can also meet the berthing requirements of a 50,000 tons bulk carrier and a 10,000 tons grocery ship. The annual design passing capacity of the wharf is 4.33 million tons. The project was approved in 2017 and started construction in November. After 10 months of accelerated construction, it successfully completed the construction of berths 12 # and 13 # and various acceptance tests. It was rated as a quality project by Fuzhou Port Authority of Fujian Province. On December 28, 2018, berths 12 # and 13 # passed the navigation safety check smoothly and obtained the port operation license during the trial operation period.

According to reports, the smooth berthing of berths 12 # and 13 # plus berths 5 #, 6 #, 7 # and 14 # that Qingtuo Logistics has invested and operated, the annual throughput of Qingtuo Logistics is expected to exceed 20 million tons. The development of the port not only strengthens the transportation capacity of the hinterland of the port, promotes the comprehensive development of port-vicinity industry and hinterland economy, but also plays a vital role in further opening up the shipping and logistics channels of Baima Port Area and supporting the development of Ningde Metallurgical New Materials, a 100 billion-dollar industrial cluster in an all-round way.
