2.1 Pump head part
slurry pumps is a double pump casing structure, that is, the pump body and pump cover are equipped with replaceable wear-resistant metal linings (including jackets, shields, etc.), as shown in Figure 1 and Shown in Figure 2. The pump body and pump cover are made of gray cast iron or nodular cast iron according to the working pressure. This series of pumps are vertical and center-opening, and the discharge direction can be rotated and installed at 450 intervals and eight angles. The front and rear covers of the impeller are provided with auxiliary impellers to reduce leakage and increase the service life of the pump.
The inlets of this series are horizontal, and the pump rotates clockwise when viewed from the transmission end. When starting and running, it is strictly prohibited to rotate the motor in the opposite direction. Otherwise, the pump impeller will fall off and cause an accident.
2.2 Shaft seal
There are two types of shaft seals:
(1) Impeller-filled combined seal: This type of seal is a high-performance seal developed by our factory with reliable design, which reduces the leakage of the shaft seal to a minimum. For some special conditions (single stage) that do not allow dilution and do not allow shaft sealing water, it can work normally and achieve the effect of no leakage. The impeller, decompression cover and shaft sleeve are made of wear-resistant materials, with less maintenance and long service life, which greatly improves the MTBF of the machine.
(2) Mechanical seal: This type of seal is particularly suitable for the sealing of multi-stage series slurry pumps, and it is completely leak-free.
For secondary slurry pumps in series and above, it is recommended to use a high-pressure shaft seal water mechanical seal, and a single-stage combined impeller and packing seal.
2.3 Shaft seal water pressure
For single-stage (or series-stage) packing and impeller combined seal, the water pressure of the shaft seal is generally not lower than 0.2Mpa.
2.4 Transmission part
slurry pumps use the same series of transmission part-bracket. The pump shaft has a large diameter, good rigidity, and a short cantilever. It will not bend or vibrate under severe working conditions. The brackets of this series of products are lubricated with thin oil. The bearings are directly installed in the horizontally-opened brackets. They are easy to disassemble and adjust, and they are equipped with a water cooling system, which improves the working conditions of the bearings and enables the bearings to run at lower Under the temperature, the life of the bearing is greatly improved.
