According to its performance, as long as it does not require oil resistance and heat resistance, it can be used in occasions without special requirements. The performance of the butadiene rubber is close to that of styrene-butadiene rubber, and the price is cheap. EPDM rubber has excellent ozone aging resistance, heat resistance, weather resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent electrical insulation properties. The performance of butyl rubber is similar to that of EPDM rubber, but it is slightly inferior to ethylene-propylene rubber and has the best airtightness and damping; the disadvantage is the lack of processing performance. Nitrile rubber is mainly oil-resistant, heat-resistant and antistatic. Neoprene has better heat resistance, ozone resistance, weather resistance, flame retardancy, and good adhesion.
The special rubber sheet has excellent performance and has special properties not available in general rubber sheets, but it is expensive. The most commonly used are silica gel sheets and a fluorine rubber sheet. The main characteristics of the silicone board are high-temperature resistance, low-temperature resistance, ozone resistance, corona resistance, and breathability. Fluorine rubber sheet has the characteristics of high-temperature resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, vacuum resistance, and flame retardant effect.
