Slurry Pumps Manufacturer recommends that the centrifugal pump be operated as follows:

1. Check before starting the centrifugal pump

1) After the motor is overhauled, check whether the direction of rotation of the motor is correct before connecting the coupling.

2) Check the pump inlet and outlet pipelines and auxiliary pipelines, flanges, valve installation requirements, anchor bolts and grounding wires, and whether the couplings are installed.

3) Check the car and check if it is normal.

4) Check if the lubricating oil level is normal, no oil and oil, and check the oil quality of the lubricating oil.

5) Open each cooling water valve and check if the pipeline is clear. Note that the cooling water should not be too large or too small, too much waste is caused by the assembly, and if it is too small, the cooling effect is poor. Generally, the cooling water flows in a line shape.

6) Open the inlet valve of the pump, close the outlet valve of the pump, and open the pressure gauge hand valve.

7) Check the sealing condition of the pump and the opening of the oil seal.

Note: The hot oil pump should be evenly warmed up before starting.

2. Startup of Centrifugal Slurry Pumps

1) Open the inlet valve fully, close the outlet valve, and start the motor.

2) When the pump outlet pressure is greater than the operating pressure, check that all parts are operating normally and gradually open the outlet valve.

3) When starting the motor, if it does not start up or there is abnormal sound, immediately turn off the power check and eliminate the fault before starting.

4) When starting, pay attention to people not facing the coupling to prevent flying and hurting people.

3.Vertical Centrifugal Pump pump stop operation

1) Slowly close the pump outlet valve.

2) Cut off the power to the motor.

3) Close the pressure gauge hand valve.

4) After stopping, you can not stop the cooling water immediately, and wait until the temperature of the pump drops below 80 °C to stop the water.

5) Close the inlet valve as needed and the pump body is vented.
