As a Sump Pump Factory, we believe that the common faults and troubleshooting methods of Sump Slurry Pump are as follows:

Sump Slurry Pump failure 1: pump does not absorb water

Reason: The water infusion is not enough, the air in the pump can not be discharged, the suction pipe leaks, and the gap between the front liner and the impeller is large.

Solution: Continue to infuse the water, check the pipeline for leaks, and adjust the gap between the impeller and the front liner.

Sump Slurry Pump fault 2: pump water is slow

Reason: The gap between the front liner and the impeller is large, and the outlet pipe cannot seal the air and empty.

Solution: Adjust the gap, adjust the water outlet pipe, and install the vacuum pump.

Sump Slurry Pump fault 3: low water pressure and small flow

Cause: There is air in the pump, the gap between the impeller and the front lining plate is large, the clutch is not closed tightly, and the impeller or lining plate is worn.

Solution: Drain the pump gas, adjust the clearance, adjust the clutch friction plate clearance, replace the impeller or liner.

Sump Slurry Pump Fault 4: Pump Vibration

Cause: The pump shaft is not concentric with the diesel engine (or motor), the impeller is unbalanced, and the bearing is damaged.

Solution: Adjust the concentricity, the impeller for balance test, and replace the bearing.

Sump Slurry Pump fault 5: impeller journal wear fast

Reason: The high pressure pump has a low lift, the packing is misaligned, and the pump shaft and the back cover are not concentric.

Solution: Replace the high pressure pump above the R Series Slurry Pump head, replace the packing, and adjust the concentricity.

Sump Slurry Pump Fault 6: Pump wears fast

Reason: The construction environment (large particles) is poor, the transportation distance is long, and the water inlet pipe is long.

Solution: Replace the sand field, add afterburner unit, shorten the length of the inlet pipe to reduce cavitation.
