5. Measure Voltage (Under Load)
- If it’s safe to do so, turn the transformer back on and measure the output voltage of the secondary winding while the transformer is under load.
- Use the AC voltage setting on the multimeter and connect the probes to the output terminals. The voltage should correspond to the expected ratings.
6. Check Input Voltage
- Additionally, you can check the input voltage on the primary winding while powered on to ensure the transformer is receiving proper voltage.
