In engineering, carpentry, and construction, a nail refers to a pointed hard metal (usually steel) used to fasten wood and other objects. Hammers drive nails into objects, and there are also electric nail guns and gas nail guns. Nails can stabilize objects by hooking on them through their own deformation and by friction.
Nails come in different shapes due to their many uses. The most common nails are called "wire nails". Other common names for nails include pins, thumbtacks or brad nails. Nails have a wide range of uses and are used in many scenarios. Generally, rivets used on aircraft carriers are more expensive, while ordinary nails are cheaper.
Cement nails, commonly known as steel nails, are a type of nails produced from carbon steel. The material is No. 45 steel or No. 60 steel. They are processed through wire drawing, annealing, nail making, quenching and other processes, so the texture is relatively hard. Its function is to nail on some relatively hard objects that cannot be nailed by other nails, because the material is very different from ordinary nails, and it is a special nail. Cement nails are very hard, thick and short, and have strong penetration ability.
It is very similar to a round nail in appearance, with a slightly thicker head. However, cement steel nails are made of high-quality steel, which has the advantages of hardness and bending resistance, and can be driven directly into concrete and brick walls. Common specifications are 7~35mm.
