Making your own lip balm at home is a fun and easy project!

Here’s a simple recipe to get you started:

 Ingredients

 Beeswax: 1 tablespoon (for firmness)

Coconut oil: 1 tablespoon (for moisture)

Sweet almond oil: 1 tablespoon (for nourishment)

Essential oils (optional): a few drops for fragrance (e.g., peppermint, lavender)

Containers: small tins or lip balm tubes

 Instructions

1. Melt the Ingredients:

In a double boiler, combine the beeswax, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil.

Heat gently until everything is melted and well combined. Stir occasionally.

2. Add Essential Oils (if using):

Once the mixture is melted, remove it from heat and add a few drops of your chosen essential oil. Mix well.

3. Pour into Containers:

Carefully pour the mixture into your custom logo lip balm containers. Be cautious, as the mixture will be hot.

4. Cool and Set:

Allow the lip balm to cool and harden completely. This usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour.

5. Label and Store:

Once set, you can label your containers for easy identification. Store your empty lip balm tubein a cool, dry place.

 Tips

Customization: Feel free to experiment with different oils or add natural colorants like beetroot powder for a tint.

Shelf Life: Homemade lip balm typically lasts about 6 months to a year, depending on the ingredients used.

Enjoy your homemade lip balm!
