100% Biodegradable PLA Shrink Film For Shrink Label
PLA is the English abbreviation for biodegradable plastic polylactic acid. Polylactic acid is a polymer obtained by polymerizing lactic acid as the main raw material. The source of raw materials is sufficient and can be regenerated. It mainly uses corn and cassava as raw materials. The production process of polylactic acid is pollution-free.
1. Product Description
PLA shrink film – Polylactide (PLA) Shrink film is a recyclable high performance shrink film that is able to envelope products in top-quality color and graphics for self-presence.But what makes PLA shrink film stand out is its fully compostable corn and starch based natural alternative to traditional plastic derived from fossil fuels. PLA shrink film allows companies to have a clean nature-based option to decorate products with.

5. Composting
1) The condition of industrial composting: the humidity is 65% and the temperature is 65 degrees Celsius and the bacteria in the compost environment; PLA and other biodegradable materials within 180 days, 90% of the organic parts degrade into water and carbon dioxide;
2) In the natural environment: biodegradable materials begins to degrade within a year. In 3-5 years or even longer, the physical properties are completely lost, and then slowly degrade into water and carbon dioxide. The degradation rate depends on local environmental conditions. In the high temperature and high humidity, they degrade faster.
