★ SOM series are single-stage double-suction centrifugal pumps of split case type.The pump adopts a linear design with reinforcing ribs,which makes the pump structure more reasonable, beautiful in appearance and stable in installation.The short bearing distance improves the rigidity of the shaft.ensuring the unit runs smoothly,with little vibration and low noise.The design of fully sealed pump shaft prevents the pump shaft from contacting with the conveying medium,thereby ensuring that the pump shaft is not rusted,easy to disassemble and assembled,and has a long service life.

Structure Description
The suction port and discharge port of the SOM pump are below the axis of the pump,and all parts can be dismantled by lifting the pump cover during maintenance without moving the motor and pipeline.
The SOM pump is mainly composed of pump body.pump cover.shaft,impeller,sealing ring,shaft sleeve,bearing parts and packing seal(or mechanical seal).The material of the shaft is high-quality carbon structural steel,and the material of other parts is basically cast iron.The impeller,sealing ring and shaft sleeve are used as wearing parts.
The shaft seal of the pump is divided into two types:packing seal and mechanical seal.The packing seal uses lead powder oil impregnated asbestos packing.The packing seal structure is divided into inner water seal packing seal structure and pressure regulating valve packing seal structure.There is a water seal groove on the pump cover of the structural pump,and the high-pressure water at the outlet of the impeller reaches the packing ring through the water seal groove on the pump cover,which acts as a water seal and seal.The pressure regulating valve structure adopts the patented product developed by our factory:water pump pressure regulating valve.The application of this patented product can easily realize the free adjustment of the pressure and flow of the shaft sealing water.The pressure of the water sealing water can be reduced from the highest head of 165m to about 20m,or can be reduced to any required pressure.Ensure that the shaft seal water can achieve the best pressure and flow,reduce the leakage of shaft seal water at the packing.and completely solve the problem of serious leakage of packing structure water seals in the pump industry for many years.and also reduce the shaft power and improve the pump performance.Eficiency,energy saving,and at the same time reduce the wear of packing and shaft sleeve(or shaft).Mechanical seal structure:pumps with small diameters generally adopt split mechanical seals;pumps with large diameters adopt cartridge mechanical seals.which are convenient for maintenance and installation.
The user needs to determine the shaft seal method.The packing seal structure and mechanical seal structure of the pressure regulating valve must be specified when ordering,otherwise the supply will be based on the inner water seal packing structure.
As an important form of centrifugal pump, double-suction pump is widely used in engineering because of its characteristics of high lift and large flow. The impeller of this pump type is actually composed of two back-to-back impellers, and the water flowing out of the impeller is merged into a volute.
