The main causes of damage to cross shaft type universal couplings

In the normal operation of the equipment, the front pinch feed rolls are pressed by the cylinder, with good impact resistance. After technical analysis by both sides, due to the high pressure water overflowing from the window of the pinch roller and washing the cross shaft part, the water contains iron oxide chips, the water immerses into the cross bearing and spline shaft to emulsify the lubricating grease and take away the lubricating grease, causing the lubricating grease to lose its function. The water also brings the iron oxide chips into the bearing, which deteriorates the working condition of the bearing.
