Digital Orthophoto Map (DOM) has the advantages of high precision, rich information, intuitive and realistic, fast acquisition, etc., and can be used as map analysis background control information. It can extract historical or latest information of natural resources and social and economic development, provide a reliable basis for applications such as disaster prevention and public facility construction planning, and can also extract and derive new information from it to realize map revision and update.
The digital elevation model (DEM) realizes the digital simulation of ground terrain through limited terrain elevation data (that is, the digital expression of terrain surface morphology), and can use different colors to assign elevation values.

Digital Surface Model (DSM), which is a collection of digital representations of object surface morphology. The biggest difference between it and DEM is that it reflects the elevation information of vegetation, buildings and other features.
