A hot stamping machine is a piece of equipment used in the hot stamping process to transfer and print metal foil or other heat sensitive materials onto paper, leather, plastic and other materials for the purpose of beautifying and enhancing the grade and value of the product. Hot stamping machines are one of the most important pieces of equipment in the printing industry and are widely used in packaging, books, magazines, greeting cards, covers, colour boxes and other areas.

The principle of hot stamp machine is to place metal foil or other heat sensitive material on the surface of the object to be printed, after high temperature and pressure, the pattern or text in the metal foil or other heat sensitive material is transferred and printed on the surface of the object, thus completing the hot stamping process. Stamping machines are usually divided into mechanical and digital types, mechanical stamping machines need to be operated manually, digital stamping machines can be computer-controlled to complete the automated operation, improving production efficiency and stability.

The structure of the hot stamping machine consists of the following main parts:

 foil stamping machines

1. pressure part: the hot stamping machine needs to transfer the metal foil or thermal material to the surface of the object through pressure, so the pressure part is the core component of the hot stamping machine, it consists of pressure mechanism, air pressure system, electromagnetic clutch and other parts.

2. Stamping head part: The stamping head is the printing part of the stamping machine and is usually composed of the stamping head, transmission part, heating system, etc. The heating system of the stamping head is usually composed of the heating body, temperature control system, heat dissipation system and other parts.

3. control system: the control system of the hot stamping machine is usually composed of computer control, touch screen control and other parts, which can complete the automatic control and adjustment of the hot stamping machine.

The process of using the hot stamping machine can be divided into the following steps:

Step 1: Preparation

Before starting stamping, the foil or other special material needs to be cut to the required size, the printed surface cleaned and positioned on the stamping machine.

Step 2: Heating

Turn the heating system of the foil stamping machine on and wait for the hot press wheel to reach the required temperature.

Step 3: Stamping

The prepared foil or other special material is placed on the printed surface and the pressure cylinder is lowered so that the pressure plate comes into contact with the hot press wheel and the required pressure is applied. Within a certain period of time, the foil or other special material forms a stamping effect with the surface of the print.

Step 4: Cooling

After the stamping has been completed, it is necessary to wait for the printed surface to cool completely before it can be removed.

Step 5: Maintenance

After using the foil stamping machine for a period of time, it needs to be maintained, including cleaning the hot press wheel and replacing the heating tube.

A hot stamping machine is a piece of equipment used in the hot stamping process, which transfers metal foil or other heat sensitive materials to paper, leather, plastic and other materials for purposes such as beautifying and improving the grade and value of products. Stamping machines play an important role in the printing industry and are widely used in packaging, books, magazines, greeting cards, covers, colour boxes and other areas. The principle of hot stamping machine is to transfer the pattern or text in the metal foil or other heat sensitive material to the surface of the object through the action of high temperature and pressure to complete the stamping process. The structure of the hot stamping machine consists mainly of the pressure part, the stamping head part and the control system, of which the pressure part is its core component. The process of using a foil stamping machine includes steps such as preparation, heating, stamping, cooling and maintenance. Mechanical and digital foil stamping machines have different characteristics respectively. The digital foil stamping machine can be operated automatically through computer control, which improves productivity and stability.
