One-step low-shrinkage silane XLPE insulation compound

Product Description

This product is a XLPE granular plastic made of polyethylene as the base material, containing a variety of additives such as highly active silane, initiator, catalyst and antioxidant, and processed by a special formulation process. After extruding into cable, it can be cross-linked in steam or 95℃ warm water bath, or it can be left for several days and cross-linked naturally.

Features and uses

Features: This product has fast cross-linking speed and small heat shrinkage after extruding the cable. It has excellent processing performance, smooth surface of finished products and less precipitates from die head. The insulation layer produced with it still has good thermal oxidation stability in direct contact with copper or aluminum core. After extruding the line with this product, generally after boiling water for one hour, it has good thermal extension performance and small thermal shrinkage performance (about 1.5%) In addition, this product also has good fast self-crosslinking performance, as long as the average temperature ≥ 25 ℃ humidity ≥ 60 environment can be naturally crosslinked.

Application: It is suitable for cross-linking insulation layer of cables with conductor area above 10mm2, insulation of low-voltage power cables and electrical equipment wires with voltage resistance level of 10kv and below. This product is cost-effective and stable, and can replace the two-step silane cross-linked polyethylene insulation material.
