Anti Crack Concrete Fibers

Anti crack concrete fiber is a kind of anti-cracking fiber which is refined through unique process and equipment, such as melting, extruding, drawing and cutting, etc. It is a kind of anti-cracking fiber which can be added to mortar and cement concrete to play the function of cracking and anti-seepage. Depending on the material of the fiber, it can be divided into synthetic fiber (polypropylene fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, polyester fiber, etc.), plant fiber (cellulose fiber), steel fiber.

Anti-cracking concrete fiber characteristics

(1) Good dispersibility and strong grip.

(2) High acid and alkali resistance, high radiation resistance.

(3) anti-frost and anti-corrosion, strengthening and toughening.

(4) physical reinforcement, anti-cracking reinforcement.

(5) Stable performance, safe and non-toxic.

(6) Simple construction, economic and reliable.

(7) improve the overall durability and mechanical properties of concrete.

(8) invisible in concrete and surface.

Application of anti-cracking concrete fiber

Anti-cracking concrete fiber acts in mortar and cement concrete, relying on its unique properties of tensile strength, dispersion, melting point ignition point, acid and alkali resistance, etc., it can effectively prevent the generation and development of dimensional cracks in mortar and cement concrete.

How to use anti crack concrete fibers?

They are usually used at low additive levels to prevent cracking and improve the performance of concrete, floor, plaster or other special mortar mixtures. They are effective even when used in very low amounts and are easily incorporated into the mixture to form a three-dimensional, uniform reinforcing network in the matrix.

It is recommended to use high-density concrete reinforcing fibers at the beginning of the batching process, and bundles of fibers can be added at a later stage to help improve solidity. They can also be added directly to ready-mixed concrete trucks at the construction site. For dry mix applications, fibers can be added to the dry premix. The recommended minimum dosage for ready-mixed concrete is 600 g/m³ or 1 lb/yd³. For dry mix and other applications, dosages may be as high as 1% by volume, limited only by workability.

Construction advice

1. Common smear mortar recommended to be added per square mortar: 0.9-1.2kg, generally 1kg/m³.

2. Insulation mortar recommended to add 1-3kg per ton.

3. Concrete recommended to add 0.6-1.8kg per square of concrete, generally 0.9kg/m³.
