The project of "key technology and application of integrated hydraulic elevator dam" jointly completed by BIC, BIDR, Longkou Water Authority, Dunhua Water Conversancy Bureau intend to apply for the 2022 Dayu water conservancy science and technology award.
1) Based on the principle of hydraulic three hinge luffing mechanism, a new structure of integral three hinge hydraulic elevator dam id proposed, which overcomes the problem of insufficient structural stability. The hydraulic elevator dam makes the hydraulic cylinder, dam body and bottom axle hinged seat form an integral spatial force system through the foundation connection plate. The three always form a triangular structure during the lifting and lowering process, which improves the overall stability of the hydraulic elevator dam.
2) A special hydraulic system for deicing has been developed to solve the problem of difficult water storage without deicing measures during freezing period. For the first time, the development idea of "overpressure concession and timely compensation" is integrated into the electro-hydraulic automatic control system. Through the development of special hydraulic components, combined with the ice pressure growth characteristics, the overpressure relief sequence is determined to realize the gate body concession and release the ice expansion pressure. Then, the electro-hydraulic system is reset to complete the ice breaking action. "One retreat and one lift" solves the problem of difficult water storage without deicing facilities in the existing technology during the ice age, and meets the water storage operation requirements in the winter freezing period in northern China.

3) The modular special hydraulic valve circuit has been developed, and the stepless unpowered gate lowering technology has been realized to effectively deal with the safety of emergency flood discharge. The safety of flood discharge in water conservancy projects is above all else. The developed modular special hydraulic valve circuit is integrated with the linkage technology of water level sensor monitoring or manual water level measurement, forming a stepless speed change unpowered gate lowering technology under multiple scenarios such as power, no power, manned and unattended, as well as menu functions such as single fan, zoning combination, overall, local, remote and app, to meet the needs of emergency flood discharge.
4) The refined and serialized gate body and its water carrying and disturbing device, the plastic dam type waterscape, the vibration reduction cylinder protection and ice cover, have created the gate body landscape. We have developed a series of gate bodies and water carrying and disturbing devices, which can divide and comb the water flow, form beautiful waterfalls and create water landscapes; It can eliminate or reduce the negative pressure at the back water side of the gate body, effectively alleviate the vibration caused by the negative pressure of the gate body, and prolong the service life of the hinge gate; It avoids the direct impact and corrosion of the water body on the hydraulic cylinder block when the gate top flows, and improves the service life of the hydraulic components; Prevent wall flow, and prevent the additional load of the ice cover formed on the back water side of the gate body on the oil cylinder in winter.
5) The design concept of lighting and fountain is integrated to improve the overall beauty of the project and increase the functions of culture and entertainment. It not only realizes various dynamic and beautiful hinge gate flow patterns such as water curtain, artificial waterfall and surge through software programming of gate opening angle and time sequence, but also optimizes and improves the gate structure, integrates lights and fountains, improves the accessibility and hydrophilicity of water body, enriches recreational and ornamental contents, and jointly builds a water ecological city and green mountains.

6) The intelligent software system is developed, the intelligent management is realized, and the digital twin platform is integrated. With the hinge gate as the carrier, based on wireless transmission, cloud data control, data collector and other technologies, it integrates remote online monitoring, mobile app real-time monitoring, program-controlled dynamic waterscape, locally senses the internal and external information such as the upstream and downstream water level, flow rate, flow, system working pressure of the gate, and integrates the construction of the hinge gate digital twin platform to provide data support for the three-level data base plate of river water conservancy projects.
