Introduction
Redispersible Emulsion Powder (RDP) is a water soluble polymer made from ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) polymer through spray drying, it's designed for the construction industry to enhance the properties of dry mortar blends.
RDP is always combined with cellulose ethers and other additives to improve the properties and performance for the cement based or gypsum based mortar, such as better water-retention,open time, better work-ability, increasing adhesion to a variety of substrate and higher flexural strength and flexibility etc..
Its technical ability to increase the cohesiveness, flexibility, bond strength and most importantly the water proofing property, form a film with high tensile strength and bonding strength on different substrates.
