1. Friction coefficient
The friction coefficient of the brake pad basically determines the braking force of the brake pad, which is related to the braking effect of the brake pad. Therefore, the choice of friction coefficient of brake pad is very important. Low friction coefficient, poor braking performance, unstable braking and long braking distance; If the friction coefficient is too high, it will cause wheel locking, direction out of control and other problems.
2. High temperature resistance
When the brake pad works, it will not only produce strong braking force, but also be accompanied by extremely high temperature. The high temperature resistance of the brake pad is directly related to the safety of the brake system. Poor quality brake pads will reduce the friction coefficient and even brake collapse under high temperature, which is extremely dangerous.
3. Fitness
When replacing a new brake pad or driving a new car, it is possible to have brake jitter, noise, peculiar smell and other phenomena. There are two reasons for this phenomenon: poor quality of brake pads and poor matching of brake pads. The new brake pad cannot run in with the brake disc, or there is a gap between the brake pad and the brake caliper.
