Q1: What type of blade do you use to cut asphalt?
A: First of all, we suggest Diamond blade, for it is engineered to cut construction material that is hard, brittle and abrasive. Asphalt is abrasive. Secondly, we need to choose a cutting blade with proper bonding for abrasive material, in case the blade will be consumed too fast or even lose segment during cutting. So we need some disc with hard base bonding, and better with dropping segments protecting the steel center from undercutting. Laser welded blades will be sharper and longer durability than sintered types. Our factory also has another model of dual-application diamond disc for your wholesale order.
Q2: Can you use a concrete blade on asphalt?
A: Sure, you can. Generally speaking, the concrete blade can alsobe able to cut asphalt. But due to different bonding design, the conctete blades may be consumed faster.
