Hydrocarbons (hydrazine carbonate, H 2 NNHCONHNn 2 , CHZ for short) are important chemical raw materials. Carbohydrazide is a derivative of hydrazine with strong reducing properties, which can be used as an intermediate in the manufacture of energetic materials, and can also be directly used as a component of rocket explosives and propellants. It has a wide range of uses in industry. It can be used as a deoxidizer for boiler water and a passivator for metal surfaces in water treatment. It can also be used as a deoxidizer for boiler water and passivation of metal surfaces. Rocket propellants, ingredients for coloring and preventing discoloration and deterioration of soaps, stabilizers and rubber antioxidants, etc. In the chemical fiber industry, it can be used as a cross-linking agent for elastic fibers. Meanwhile, because carbohydrazide is a derivative of hydrazine, it has strong reducibility, and the hydrogen atom attached to the nitrogen atom in its molecule is easily replaced by other groups. Therefore, carbohydrazide is an important chemical industry center. It can be used in medicine, herbicides, plant growth regulators, dyes and other industries.

Derived from crystallization from aqueous ethanol. Melting point is 153154, it decomposes when melted, easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkaline, insoluble in ethanol, insoluble in alcohol, ether, chloroform and benzene.

Dissolution endothermic. Nitrogen content is 62.18%, PH=7.4 in 1% aqueous solution, does not absorb moisture, and has extremely strong reducibility. It reacts with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, phosphoric acid and nitric acid to form salts. The resulting chlorides are very soluble in water; sulfates and oxalates are slightly soluble in water; phosphates and nitrates cannot crystallize. In the presence of nitrous acid, carbohydrazide is converted into a highly explosive compound - carbonyl azide CO(N3)2. The carbohydrazide decomposes when an aqueous solution is heated with an acid.

It can be used as a component of rocket propellant, a stabilizer for color development and soap quality, an antioxidant for rubber, and a passivation agent for metals.

application:

3. Resin finishing agent. In the resin finishing of textiles, carbohydrazide can be used as a formaldehyde scavenger. In acidic media, carbohydrazide reacts with formaldehyde to form an adduct, which is then dehydrated and polymerized. Therefore, this is an irreversible reaction and no formaldehyde is released. In addition, textiles treated with carbohydrazide have a high affinity for acid dyes, i.e., fabrics are easily colored, wrinkle reduction is reduced, and the product has good corrosion resistance and durability.

4. Chemical intermediates. It can be used in medicine, herbicide, plant growth regulator, dye and other industries.
