Mountaineering nylon ropes are divided into power ropes according to different uses

(Dynamicrope) (nylon 6) and staticrope (nylon 66). The power rope is suitable for projects that have the possibility of falling, such as rock climbing, mountaineering, etc.; because the ductility of the power rope is required to absorb the energy of the fall and reduce damage.

The static rope is suitable for rapid descent, high-altitude operations, caverns, etc.; stable. Static extension of static rope: 2% to 3%.
The static extension of the power rope: 6% to 8%; the dynamic extension, up to 31%.
