Oysters are a kind of marine life. It should be noted that it is not motionless in the ocean, so the breeding environment is very important. We have to choose sea areas without typhoons and pollution as oyster farms. There are four breeding methods for oysters: column, floating raft, bamboo and longline.

(1) The column is to insert a cement column on the seabed. Its advantage is that the cost is lower, the adhesion effect is better, and it is not suitable for being driven by sea water. The surface of the cement column we build should be a bit rougher, with a height of about 2 meters and a diameter of about 30 cm, so that the oysters can be attached to the cement column more easily. Secondly, before putting the cement column on the seabed, the cement column should be placed in the silt for a period of time. This process is called column cultivation, which can provide a good nutrient foundation for oysters. Check the cement column frequently when raising the column. If the cement column is inclined, it should be straightened in time.

(2) The second is the floating raft culture method, which is suitable for tying trees and bamboos together. With a buoy. The size of the raft is about 5x8 meters. If it is too large, it will affect the production of oysters. If the raft is too small, it will cost itself too much. Use a rope to fix it on the seabed to prevent the raft from drifting with the waves. The raft and the raft should also be connected with a rope to prevent the raft from floating away after the rope breaks on the seabed. The distance between the two rafts is about 20 meters. This breeding method is more suitable for breeding in shallow seas.

(3) The third type is planting bamboo cultivation, which literally means planting bamboo on the bottom of the sea. It should be noted that bamboo is processed in various ways. Usually there are six bamboos in a group, and the overall shape is like a funnel buckled on top of the sea mud. The length of each bamboo is controlled at about 1.5 meters, and the diameter is more than ten centimeters. The parts in contact with the seabed should be secured with ropes to prevent the bamboo from being washed away by ocean currents.

(4) The fourth method is longline farming. This is a simple method of farming. It only requires ropes and floating objects to be farmed. It is suitable for relatively open sea areas, but in terms of wind and waves, the resistance of extended farming is relatively general.The two ends of the rope are fixed on the bottom of the sea, and the middle part is used to breed oysters. The breeding range in the middle is about 40 to 50 meters. Every two meters or so, the rope needs to be equipped with a float. It should be noted that this kind of breeding method should always check whether the rope is fixed.
