Why is it that ichthyosis must be cured?

Most of our ichthyosis patients think: I only need to remove the scales, it does not affect the appearance, ichthyosis was "cured". There are also some patients with mild symptoms who think that my fish scales are not obvious, or I don't care what others think, so I don’t need to treat ichthyosis.

In fact, many of us are stuck in an understanding misunderstanding: equate ichthyosis with dry skin and scales, and only pay attention to one symptom of ichthyosis, while ignoring the essence of ichthyosis.

We are always concerned about the heart, liver, spleen, stomach, and kidneys, which are the most important organs we think should be protected. The skin, the largest organ in our body, is often overlooked. In fact, while the skin protects us from wind and rain, and shows beauty and ugliness, as an indispensable member, it also makes a great contribution to our secretion of toxins, metabolism and body immunity.

Ichthyosis is caused by disorders of skin keratosis, which leads to metabolic imbalance. Imagine that when the skin is blocked, the toxins in the body cannot be discharged through the pores with sweat. Day after day, the body wastes more and more, the scales will only accumulate, and the disease will become more and more serious. Not only fish scales, but also other such as markings, folliculitis, etc., and because the body is unable to sweat normally for a long time, it will also increase the burden on the kidneys. If this is the case for a long time, it may not take long for the kidneys to become diseased.

Fortunately, folliculitis and keratosis pilaris can gradually recover after the skin returns to normal metabolic function, but amyloidosis is irreversible. Once formed, even if the skin restore to normal, it cannot change the existing Symptoms.
