Precision Optics Manufacturer shares with you about the scanning range of laser focusing lens, hope it will be helpful for you.

Laser focusing lens is one of the important parts of laser marking machine, the purpose is to focus the laser on the whole marking plane of the workpiece. The following are the key points of laser focusing lens.

1. Scanning range

The larger the area the lens can scan, of course, the more popular. However, if you simply increase the scanning area, it will bring a lot of problems. Such as thickening of the spot, aberrations increase, etc.

2. Focal length

Scanning range is proportional to the focal length of the objective lens - the increase in the scanning range will inevitably lead to an increase in the working distance. The elongation of the working distance necessarily leads to a loss of laser energy.

The diameter of the focused spot is directly proportional to the focal length. This means that when the scanned area reaches a certain level, the spot diameter obtained is large, i.e. the focal point is not small enough and the power density of the laser drops very fast

3、Working wavelength.

Currently used in the market is mostly 1064nm and 10600nm. But with the later development of Laser Reflectors, 532nm, 355nm and 266nm field lenses will also have corresponding applications.

The main functions of the focusing lens are:

1、To improve the ability of the edge beam into the detector.

2、In the same primary optical system, increasing the objective lens will reduce the area of the detector; if the same area of the detector is used, it can expand the field of view and increase the incident flux.

3、So that the non-uniform illumination on the photosensitive surface of the detector is uniform.

Our company also has Laser Filter Lens on sale, if you need, welcome to contact us.
