The bipolar Hall-effect sensor includes the following on a single silicon chip: reverse voltage protector, voltage regulator, temperature compensation circuit, Hall-voltage generator, signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger and open collector output driver, etc. The integrated voltage regulator and temperature compensation circuit ensure that the sensor works stably in a wide voltage and temperature range. The reverse voltage protection circuit prevents the sensor from being damaged by reverse voltage.
Produced with bipolar technology, a bipolar Hall IC is more stable and reliable in some special application. It is available in three package types: SOT-23-3L (Type M), SOT-89 (Type S), and TO-92UA (Type UA). Each package is lead (Pb) free, with 100% matte tin plated leadframes.
