Little Bareheaded Ichthyosis Girl----Mermaid Angel,Yuan

The protagonist of the first phase of Mermaid Angel is Yuan.

Yuan was picked up by her mother in a basket front the door of market. At that time, the kind-hearted Yuan's mother decided to take the poor girl home. But one month later, she found that Yuan’s skin was abnormal and went to the hospital for examination. Later, she learned that Yuan had congenital ichthyosis.

Yuan’s mother said that in order to better take care Yuan, her biological daughter was sent to the town’s boarding kindergarten when she was only two years old, and she was picked up only on weekends. This is precisely why she was shy and introverted personality.But Yuan has always been by her mother's side, is sunny and outgoing.

Yuans grandparents did not support her parents to bring up Yuan, and the neighbors around them did not understand them, but these dosen't influence their decision to raise her and Insist on treating Yuan! The family took Yuan to those famous skin hospital around China, and even spent all savings in the family. However, Yuan’s skin condition was still not under control, and still had skin folds fall off after returning home.

Although the pain has been entwined with this little girl who is only six years old, fortunately, Yuan met this kind-hearted family. Under the care of her parents, she gradually grew up and became well-behaved, sensible, sunny and cheerful. It’s just that as Yuan grows up, she desires to have beauty hair like other girls, but because the scalp  must be exposed to apply medicine long-term. Therefore,Yuan’s hair be shaved every week. A girl who should have long beautiful hair is always bareheaded.

After visiting, we discussed with Yuany's mother about the treating of ichthyosis for Yuan to Beijing. Because Yuan’s home is remote, then came to Beijing after a bumpy train overnight. After receiving Yuan and her mother at the train station, the volunteers took them to Zhangjian Ichthyosis Research Institute, where ichthyosis experts conducted consultations on Yuanyuan’s condition.

After inquiring , Yuan was diagnosed with bullous ichthyosis. Although the condition is more serious, the skin of Yuan can be restored to normal after their special treatment.

After two months of treatment, Yuansaid: "I feel that the skin on my body is soft, and I can grow long hair after the skin peels off." Although 6-year-old Yuan Yuan is small, she has been able to describe her feelings and dreams.Our volunteers learned about Yuan’s birthday during chatting with Yuan’s mother, .The staff of the Ichthyosis Care Center bring a birthday cake for Yuan and hope that this gift of good wishes can brings happiness to Yuan Fate !
