Terminals are common basic accessory products in the automation industry. They mainly complete the effective transmission of signals, currents and other intermediate media. Safe protection devices and light operation are the two core values of terminals for the connection market.

In the power automation connection system, the appearance of Industrial Terminals facilitates daily operation and maintenance. Its simple structure and rich variety can provide thousands of solutions for industry partners. When the connected terminal is short-circuited due to burnout, the application advantage of the terminal is immediately obvious. After the power is cut off, the burned terminal can be immediately taken out and replaced with a new product of the same model. The entire maintenance time is greatly shortened. As the terminal itself, it mainly includes the following connection technologies:

1. Screw connection

Screw connection is a connection method using screw terminal blocks. Lianjie Electric reminds you to pay attention to the maximum and minimum cross-sections of the allowable connecting wires and the maximum tightening torque allowed by screws of different specifications.

2. Welding

The most common soldering is soldering. The most important thing for soldering connection is that the continuity of the metal connection should be formed between the solder and the surface to be soldered. The most common plating on the soldering end of the ring terminal is tin alloy, silver and gold. The reed type contact has the welding piece type, the punching welding piece type and the notched welding piece type for the common welding end: the pinhole contact has the drilling arc notch type for the common welding end.

3. Crimp

Crimping is a technique for compressing and displacing metal within specified limits and connecting wires to contact pairs. A good crimp connection can produce metal mutual fusion flow, so that the wire and the contact pair material symmetrically deform. This kind of connection is similar to the cold welding connection, which can obtain better mechanical strength and electrical continuity, and it can withstand more severe environmental conditions. At present, it is generally believed that the correct crimp connection is better than tin soldering, especially in high current situations. Special crimping pliers or automatic or semi-automatic crimping machine must be used for crimping.

4. Winding

Winding is to directly wind the wire on the angular contact winding post. When winding, the wire is wound under controlled tension, pressed in and fixed at the corners of the contact piece winding post to form an airtight contact.

5. Piercing successively

Piercing connection, also known as insulation displacement connection, is a novel terminal technology invented by the United States in the 1960s. It has the characteristics of high reliability, low cost, and convenient use. It has been widely used in various printed board terminals. It is suitable for the connection of ribbon cables. When connecting, there is no need to strip the insulation layer of the Distribution Box of the cable. The tip of the "U"-shaped contact reed of the terminal is pierced into the insulation layer, so that the conductor of the cable slides into the groove of the contact reed and is clamped The copyright of the control engineering network is used to form a tight electrical connection between the cable conductor and the terminal reed. It only requires simple tools, but cables with specified wire gauges must be used.
