Industrial Storage Racking System
Drive in racking system is frequently used for a great number of pallets of similar SKU or item. It’s ideal solution to increase the utilization of your warehouse space. The system storage space can be used up to 75%-85% more availably than selective pallet racking.
Drive in racking also often used in cold storage or freezer racking which per cubic meter has expensive cost require maximum use of warehouse space for storing goods
There are two types of drive in racking system available:
Drive in racking: base on FILO principle, only one access aisle
Drive through racking: base on FIFO principle, pallets can be loaded or retrieved from both side
Advantage:
High density storage 一 Stored more pallets per cubic meter than conventional pallet racking system
Low stock rotation 一 Perfectly suitable for seasonal goods and fluctuating stock demand
Used for bulk storage of identical products and cold storage
Suitable for easily damaged or fragile loads, which cannot be stacked one on top of the other
