1) Water leakage of socket connection of cast iron pipe

If it is a green lead interface, you can re-tighten the joint, or fill it with cold lead and then tighten it; if it is an asbestos cement interface, self-stressed cement mortar interface, gypsum cement interface, etc., you can remove the interface material and re-tap the connection; if it is a rubber ring For flexible joints, if the rubber ring is improperly positioned or not dense, which causes water leakage in the pipeline, the position of the rubber ring can be recalibrated and connected in place. If the rubber ring is aged or broken, the rubber ring needs to be replaced.

2) The cast iron pipe found that the pipe frostbite leaked

Put some lead or fuse in the sand hole, and tap it with a round head hammer (fitter's hammer) without leakage; if the hole is slightly larger, you can drill a hole in the sand hole to form an internal thread, and use a screw plug to repair it; Huff clamp leak plugging method can also be used.

3) Leakage of cast iron pipe cracks

Before repairing the pipe section, drill through holes at both ends of the crack to prevent crack propagation. The rubber plate can be wrapped around the crack, and the steel plate clamp for external use can be clamped and repaired. When a large crack that cannot be repaired leaks, cut the cracked pipe section, add sleeves, and refill and punch.

4) Serious damage to the cast iron pipe section

It is necessary to replace the entire pipeline. When replacing, one side is connected with socket type, and the other side is connected with sleeve.

1. Asphalt paint coating

Asphalt paint coating is a pipeline used to transport gas. Preheating the pipe before painting can improve the adhesion of asphalt paint and accelerate drying.

2. Cement mortar lining + special coating

This internal anti-corrosion measure is applicable to the pipeline for conveying sewage, and can improve the corrosion resistance of the inner lining.

3. Epoxy coal asphalt coating

Epoxy coal asphalt coating is suitable for both gas pipelines and sewage pipelines. It is a two-component coating that has high adhesion and a very smooth surface

4. Epoxy ceramic lining

The epoxy ceramic lining is suitable for sewage pipes and gas pipes, but due to the difficulty of the manufacturing process and the high cost, there are certain limitations in use. The epoxy ceramic lining has high adhesion and smoothness, and is a good anti-corrosion coating.

5. Aluminate cement coating or sulfate cement coating

Both of these special cement coatings are suitable for internal anti-corrosion of nodular cast iron pipes for sewage pipelines, which improves the resistance to acid and alkali components in sewage.

6. Polyurethane coating

It is a new type of green special coating developed to meet the needs of environmental protection. It has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
