1. Do not oil the tire nuts

Do not apply oil to the wheel bolts and nuts. During maintenance, in order to prevent the bolts and nuts from rusting on the wheels, a few private car owners ingeniously coated the bolts and nuts with lubricating oil during installation. They did not realize that this approach was not only wrong but also brought certain hidden dangers to driving safety. After the bolts and nuts are tightened, they have self-locking characteristics. After being coated with lubricating oil, the self-locking coefficient between the two becomes smaller, resulting in a decrease in self-locking performance. When the car is driving at high speed, the bolts and nuts are easy to loosen or even fall off, causing a driving accident and the consequences are disastrous.

2. Pay attention to car washing

Do not wash the interior of the vehicle body with water. In summer, it is common for private car owners to wash the body with water while wiping with a rag. Here is a reminder to private car owners that it is best not to wash the inside of the body with water. Because of structural requirements, there are many grooves and through holes under the rubber pad of the cab floor. After rinsing with water, it either deposits in the groove and is not easy to dry, or flows from the through-hole to the gearbox and other parts to cause rust. In particular, cars with better sealing performance cannot directly wash the interior of the body with water. The correct method is to wipe with a damp cloth, avoid direct washing with water.

3. The addition of coolant

Do not mix different brands of coolant. We all know that the engine coolant should be added in time when the engine coolant is insufficient, but have you mixed coolants of different brands for use? If so, I advise you to drain the coolant as soon as possible and add the coolant of the same brand again. Because the chemical properties of different brands of coolants may differ greatly, for example, anticorrosives that are effective for ferrous metals often have a corrosive effect on aluminum products; and antiseptics suitable for aluminum alloys are harmful to ferrous alloys. Since different brands of coolant use different preservatives, they cannot be mixed.

4. Pay attention to when starting

Do not step on the accelerator when the EFI car starts. An engine equipped with an electronic control fuel injection device is different from a normal carburetor engine. Its fuel injection control device can automatically adjust the fuel supply according to the temperature and working conditions of the engine so that the engine can start smoothly, that is, when a cold car starts, The fuel injection control device can automatically increase the fuel supply. Therefore, there is no need to step on the accelerator when starting the engine of an EFI car, let alone step on continuously before starting, otherwise, the engine will start badly.
