In the notebook computer, the Hall Sensor is mainly used to detect the brightness and extinction of the screen when the computer is flipped, and the Micropower Omnipolar Hall Sensor with low power consumption is widely used. In most cases, a magnet is mounted in the display of the notebook computer, and a Hall element (Hall sensor) is mounted in a corresponding portion of the main body of the body. When the screen is turned on, the magnet is far away from the Hall element, and the computer works normally; when the screen is closed, the magnet is close to the Hall element, the magnetic field around the Hall begins to change, the screen of the notebook will automatically go out, and the computer goes into a sleep state.
Installing the Hall element in the notebook to sense the screen change, in order to determine the working state of the computer can effectively reduce the power consumption of the machine.
The High Sensitivity Omnipolar Micropower Hall Sensor commonly used in notebook computers has YS248 or YS4913 all-pole switch Hall which can work without distinguishing between N and S pole magnetic fields. High sensitivity, low power consumption and high stability are a very versatile Hall.
